This package is designed for SolarEdge domestic systems, providing full energy monitoring and display capabilities. It ensures optimal performance of the complete system and allows for efficient energy consumption. With approval from the local DNO, the included technology can limit the export power, such as in a 100kWp PV system with 85kW inverters, which can be limited to 75kW of AC export power. During periods of self consumption, no limitation is applied, but during high generation and low self consumption periods, the system automatically adjusts to a DNO-defined limit. While there may be a small percentage of 'lost' energy in most commercial buildings, the added benefit of additional generation capacity will outweigh this during most times.

 

Note:

The SolarEdge Power Management package <100A grid supply includes an energy meter, a 100A CT, and an RS-485 expansion kit for multiple inverter systems. This kit allows for communication between multiple inverters and the energy meter. The package also includes a 10m length of RS-485 cable for connecting the inverters to the bus and the energy meter. However, it is important to check if this quantity is enough for your specific property before purchasing. The package also comes with 1 X 100A current monitoring clamps, suitable for properties with up to 100A per phase power supply. Please make sure these clamps are sized correctly for your incoming grid supply before making a purchase. Other CT options are available.
